Design and Fabrication of Yttrium Ferrite Garnet-Embedded Graphitic Carbon Nitride: A Sensitive Electrocatalyst for Smartphone-Enabled Point-of-Care Pesticide (Mesotrione) Analysis in Food Samples

As the use of pesticides in agriculture is increasing at an alarming rate, food contamination by pesticide residues becoming a huge global problem. It essential to develop sensitive and user-friendly sensor device quantify trace levels herbicide samples. First, YIG was prepared hydrothermal route; then, it loaded on GCN sheets via calcination method. The surface structures, composition, crystallinity, interfacial electrocatalytic properties YIG/GCN were analyzed. displayed better catalytic than YIG, modified screen-printed electrode fabricate MTO.
